"Great experience, nice staff"- N.T. / Google / Nov 21, 2023
"Our experience as a family was beyond exceptional. My oldest son has Sensory Processing Disorder, and my second oldest son has an extreme aversion to the dentist due to an oral issue he was born with. He has had to have a ton of dental work. There is extreme anxiety around dental visits for the two of them. However, MINT made it a breeze. The dental hygienists, Assistants, and Drs. Were all incredibly empathetic and naturally took care of my boys. It was the first time ever I did not have to sit on the same area as they had their teeth cleaned. I was able to have my exam and cleaning at the same time. I felt they were thorough and honest about the whole process, gentle and understanding. The dentist took his time to really talk to my kiddos and help them be confident in their dental hygiene. My teeth feel healthy, and look great too.Truly grateful for the positive experience. My sons wanted to go back the next day, and they kept talking about how they will forever go to Mint for dental care. They now look forward to their exams and cleanings."- A.C. / Google / Nov 12, 2023

Best Candidates for Dental Crowns
Crowns can help in a variety of situations. They can be used to keep a tooth (weakened by decay) from breaking or they can hold parts of a tooth together that have already cracked. Crowns can also be used to fix a tooth that is loose or extremely worn down. They can serve as a covering and support for a tooth with a cavity that is too large for a normal filling, to hold a dental bridge in place, and to cover misshapen or discolored teeth. MINT dentistry crowns are made with top-quality porcelain and are secured with state-of-the-art techniques to ensure a long-lasting result that looks natural and attractive.
What to Expect
When you have decided on a treatment plan during your initial consultation, one of MINT’s dental professionals will take impressions of your teeth so your crown can be custom made. If needed, a temporary crown can be placed over your tooth while your custom crown is in production. Once your crown is returned to us, our support staff will schedule an appointment for placement. After settling into one of our luxurious treatment chairs, you will be offered a pair of Beats headphones and MINT sunglasses to help you feel at ease during your procedure. Next, the area to be treated will be numbed with a local anesthetic. Other sedation options may be available to help you feel more comfortable during the procedure if you have any fears or anxieties. Once you are ready, a skilled dentist will prepare the tooth by removing any areas of decay and filing down the tooth to make room for the crown so it will fit snugly. The crown will be cemented onto the tooth or attached to the dental implant. After the crown is set, we will adjust the fit so your bite is correct.
As long as stronger sedation wasn't used, you should be able to leave once your crown is placed to continue your regular activities. A member of our team will go over the best way to care for your new crown, including food to avoid and the best way to keep it clean. We highly recommend all patients come back for a bite adjustment after getting a crown to ensure their alignment is perfect. Bite complications are almost unavoidable because the patient’s mouth is numb, but are easily fixed. Just call MINT. During your exams at MINT dentistry, a skilled dental professional will assess your crown and adjust the fit as needed so it remains comfortable. We will let you know when the crown needs to be replaced, but with proper care, a crown should last for many years. If you experience any problems with your crown (for example, it becomes loose or falls out), contact our office for help. Do not try to fix it or put it back in since this can lead to more extensive issues, like an infection or an uneven bite.
The MINT Commitment
Based on your policy and coverage, if you have insurance, some of the cost of your crown may be covered. After speaking with your insurance company, our office can better estimate your out-of-pocket expenses. During your consultation, a member of our team can help you determine the best material for your crown that fits your budget. We will also go over payment options, including the MINT discount plan, to make your treatment more affordable. MINT dentistry is committed to helping each of our patients get an attractive smile. Our dental restorations are made with the highest quality porcelain material so you can feel confident that your smile looks amazing and your results will last for many years.
